The distribution system: hook → profile → format → channel → loop
Most creators treat distribution as “posting.” Operators treat it as a system. Your job isn’t to publish more—it’s to make each idea travel further and convert better.
This is the simplest model that works across platforms:
- Hook (attention starts)
- Profile (attention converts)
- Format (attention survives)
- Channel (attention travels)
- Loop (attention returns)
1) Hook: earn the next 3 seconds
Your hook must do one of:
- surprise
- specificity
- contradiction
- emotion
- proof
If it does none, it’s invisible.
2) Profile: convert attention into a next step
Your profile is not a bio. It’s a landing page:
- who it’s for
- what they get here
- what to do next
3) Format: package for retention
Formats that preserve meaning:
- checklist
- teardown
- decision tree
- before/after
4) Channel: match native behavior
Search rewards structure. Social rewards immediacy. Community rewards continuity. Don’t copy-paste; translate.
5) Loop: close the circuit
Every post should point to:
- another post
- a start-here piece
- an interactive experience
CTA (Interactive)
